I am always amazed at the wrong advice given on the topic of family law.

Irreconcilable differences is not a ground for divorce in SA Law. There are 2 x grounds :

1. Irretrievable breakdown of the marriage;

or

2. Mental illness or continuous unconsciousness of one of the spouses

And if the Mental illness was declared before the marriage started?

she doesn't want to be married to me, she doesn't even want me to share the same bed any more, all of a sudden. all i can do is give her what she wants

I stand corrected, but if someone is mentally ill, they cannot consent to marriage (remember that, in law, marriage is a contract of sorts), so it is not valid/legal and can be annullled.

yep, it contributed, and if you count the affair she had, the guy she kissed at a party, her new age cult beliefs and the fact that i relocated across the country to let her be closer to her friends instead of mine and that she has sex like a fish, then it all adds up in the end
