Cheapest SA Email Hosting?

If they have an automated setup process, they would also need your domain in order to setup your email on their mail servers etc..
 
What was the consensus here? I need to have email (one account) for a small start-up. Nothing complicated, just a host that I can access from (or forward to) to gmail. Is there something easier / cheaper than simply paying for one user on Google Apps?
