Cheapest uncapped ADSL services

Granted...It all depends on your specific needs however I am sure you can get a 10 GB account for much cheaper than a 4meg uncapped account. You will most probably have to use at least 18 GB in order to fully make use for what you pay for. I like my full line speed; and once the 10meg lines are in I will even enjoy it more. I have been on a few uncapped solutions and none of them gave me the same performance as my capped service.

10GB a day = +/- 300GB a month, +browsing, world of warcrack, email, youtube, pr0n, etc.

This is so helpful to have a consolidated list in one place that's regularly reviewed.
Good work broadbandbible & co, I'm showing this to my folks tonight to discuss moving them to a different account.

it would be nice to show what type of limits (eg. afrihost 20gig) or throttling (mweb ) are implemented, and then from there you would be able to choose the best one.

Its not about the price of the uncapped anymore, its about what Quality of Service you get from your ISP!

I would rather pay an extra R100 and get a better quality of service, than get the cheapest one, and then download 10 gig and get throttled to 56k

This is excactly my problem at the moment, I have heard so many things from so many people about how these uncapped services are being throttled and what bad speeds they getting, I am currently on a 4mbit capped line and my speeds are really good but the problem is I keep running out of bandwidth so fast which is why I am looking to change my service to uncapped but I see no point in paying for a 4mbit line when I can't utilise the speeds I should be getting because they shape them so heavily.

I am at a loss of where to move to from here, I need uncapped but I also need the speeds, at the moment it all seems to be a catch 22 situation.

If any of you on a uncapped 4mbit line can shed some light on how your service is and roughly what your usage is it may just help those of us looking to make a change.
