Cheapest uncapped pricing?

digichilli is about to launch, perhaps wait a few days to get reports of their speeds before singing up to any ISP ?

there is always axxess?

afaik you can also get cybersmart uncapped 384 for around 500 bucks?

I'm considering getting uncapped, but what is out there that is the relatively cheapest and a decent speed.

I'm prepared to spend R1k max a month.

thanks

nothing at a "decent speed" for under a grand.

I'm using OpenWeb's Uncapped Express 4 mbit for R1299.00 a month. It is throttled to 256k during business hours, but from 7 pm to 8 am you can go full speed. If you used it to the max you could easily get 800 Gb to a Terabyte a month.

All those that I have seen under a grand are all limited to 384k.

If you want true uncapped and not those rolling thresholds or time based throttled type systems then I suggest you go for Screamers uncapped which at R399 is the cheapest out there.

@Playoff: Isnt screamers uncapped speed similar to a dial-up speed connection? And it also has limitations, for instance only full-uncapped-internet after the first half of the month(after the 15th).

Hi Screamers uncapped has no time or threshold limitations.

Why cant I see on the cybersmart website where the uncapped option is and some info regarding it?

I'm currently using the 384kbps Uncapped Express from Axxess for R899pm (pretty much like the option Garyvdh mentioned from OpenWeb), in combination with 10GB local only (IS) from OpenWeb for R70 (prepaid) during weekdays 08:00-20:00 to give me full 4mbps access to local content at all times.
Of course I only download content after 20:00 weekdays OR I let most of the downloads use only the uncapped connection.

Axees seems like a good ISP to go for. I dont have access to local download sites so openWeb may not be the option for me.
