No contact details.
Not registered with CIPC.
Sure, the website looks nice, but that's about it.

Hi guys,

I know there is still alot of question marks. And I fully intend to give you the peace of mind that you need.
CIPC has been busy registering this company for 2 months on end now, and has only now confirmed the name change with me.

Rekelek cc t/a www.techimport.co.za (undergoing name change)
774 Swavel Street, Wingate Park, Pretoria, 0153
info@techimport.co.za
Reg No. CK98 21282/23

I dont have any other contact details on there, as the sheer volume of calls I receive per day just from my corporate clients allow for no more room to handle more calls. If you are a serious buyer, just email me, and I will phone you.

Thanks a million for checking out the site, and I really appreciate any and all feedback (positive and negative) :)

All the best,
Albert Nel

For what it's worth Albert has a strong presence and support base on carbonite with very positive feedback. Personally I haven't done any deals with him yet (just because my funds are low). I am eyeing the EVGA GPU's and will no doubt buy from him soon.

The site is easy to navigate and very informative with competitive prices.

i have personally dealt with the owner of the site and i can assure you there is nothing dodgy there. He is a great guy and honest to the bone, always willing to help with his knowledge.

he has my Asian seal of approval and i will defiantly be dealing with him and the site in the future. I think every good store needs to grow and this store has vast amounts of potential for growth.

Hi,

Just a bit of feedback from browsing the website.

As someone who has very limited funds it would be nice to be able to browse the website for certain things according to price. EG All the graphics cards from cheapest to most expensive.

Otherwise it's looking good!

Recently got myself the Corsair H100i water cooler from Sybaritic (R1396.00) Techimport is R1335.00 for the same thing. Few rands here and there isn't going to swing me. For me it is quality of service.

Techimport has still got a long way to go. . .

That's not the point. Track record. They still have to prove themselves. I never said i won't buy from them, did I??:wtf:
No, but you're judging them that it sounds like you did. I also love Rebeltech and Wootware service, and those are very hard to beat.. But, if I can find components for cheaper at a different place, I'll give them a go. Only after I bought something from a retailer can I judge their service.

As you can see, we have put alot of effort into the techimport site, and we will do our very best to give our clients the best possible experience. And we also agree it is early days, but all the other online stores had to start at exactly the same place we are right now.

Thanks for the feedback :) and please keep on checking out the store, we are updating and impoving it on a daily basis. :)
