For hard cheese, I agree.

When you go to mozzarella, Brie, Camembert, Stilton/roquefort, gorgonzola, not one local cheese is edible.

Had some goats milk gorgonzola at some spot in the berg before that absolutely blew me away, the smell, flavour & texture was awesome. Think I purchased a kg of the stuff as you can't find find it in any retail stores.

FoodLovers have an 18 month mature cheddar that is pretty decent.(-+R150/kg)
It's cheaper than KerryGold and Colliers Welsh cheddar (which is awesome... and now stupid expensive )
