Chelsea transfer ban

Was about to post this.

That is SUPER DUPER HECTIC!!!!!!
 
Does that mean they can't buy anyone in January 2010 and in the July/August 2010. If that's the case, then it is huge blow for Chelsea considering future injuries that might occur and losing out on top targets to keep them right up there. What do you Chelsea lad's say?

Chelsea isnt really a young side as well. Big PROBLEMS!!!
 
Pretty funny considering Abromovich wanted to ban City from buying any more players.

Also next 2 transfer windows would be January and the off season?

Surely Chelsea should have taken into consideration the worst case scenario before the last transfer window closed?

Er... I don;t really think it's that bad BUT... WTF?!?! For ***uta? I mean what about Arsenal with Fabregas, or United with that lanky wop or or or... fscking unbelievable. That said - still think it isn't a bad decision. At least our youngsters will need to get game time. The ony problem I can foresee is if we have a goalkeeping crisis. Turnbull is looks like a man with greasy palms.
 
Finally Chelsea have been busted.They been involved in many of these suspect transfer of youngesters.Guys like Jon Harley and John Bostock were snatched by chelsea and no compension was paid.The ashley cole transfer was suspect as well.Also the way they been trying to extort 17million from Adrian mutu has been bang out of order.Just glad they've been busted.

???? WTF kind of drugs are you on??? Jon Harley was a Chelsea youth product through and through. I remember him from Terry's early days. I googled him just to be sure and his official stats show that he played only for Chelsea Youth. Also, John Bostock was a Palace youth product and has never been involved with Chelsea at all. Unbelievable how uninformed you are and still have the nerve to post it on a public forum. My word - if you aren't sure about something - there's always Wikipedia.

The Cole transfer has already been dealt with and Chelsea did pay a fine. Who cares, we got him and that's that. If we are going to talk about poaching youngsters from Europe - then why not also take a look at Arsenal (most notably) and Liverpool and Manchester United. Or does your Google-fu not extend that far Oh Man of Many Mysteries?

Chelsea issue is that lens complained. Same as roma's issue with mexes and auxerre. All the big clubs do this but most of the smaller clubs also poach players from other clubs so they don't complain. Chelsea were just unlucky.

my bad with the bostock transfer.But there was also there poaching of two leeds youngesters recently.There's also there suspect dealing with an 11 yr from queens park rangers

I see Roma appealed their ban for the same thing in 2004 and had it reduced to one season only...
 
Well I think it a joke. Hope the appeal gets it overturned.

FFS, AF was sitting in a hotel room with Berbatov negotiating a deal while the club made it blatant that the player is not allowed to talk to anyone, no punishment whatsoever.

If one club gets punished, all should be punished, period. They all do dodgy deals, its called business.
 
You buggers poached him first. We just made a more appealing deal. Nyah nyah! :D

No, I'm a Chelsea fan. For fanboism check the dictionary under dbecks :p

Anyway... the English rules about recruitment is such that London clubs are very ruthless about the catching the best youngsters in their "field of influence". London clubs have to stick to London and even certain parts of London - so stealing will invariably happen... no matter what club it is. You were also mistaken about Jon Harley FYI.

Also - as far as 11 year olds are concerned... it isn't actually stealing. Just offering a better deal. The whole poaching issue is with kids that are 16+... that have been with the club for a number of years. Therefore the compensation that is paid out to these clubs once players are poached. What club can claimed to have "spent an excessive amount of money" on training an 11 year old? That's just bullschit. Identifying talent i another thing altogether, but training them... bollocks.
