Chelsea transfer ban

Let's all hope he continues playing like he has in the last couple of games. One brilliant pass at the end of the game and bugger all else before that.

It's why we love having him on these boards. He's no Alan that's f'sure...

Well I think it a joke. Hope the appeal gets it overturned.

FFS, AF was sitting in a hotel room with Berbatov negotiating a deal while the club made it blatant that the player is not allowed to talk to anyone, no punishment whatsoever.

If one club gets punished, all should be punished, period. They all do dodgy deals, its called business.

Spurs got paid a higher transfer fee. Happens all the time. If spurs launched an complaint man utd would be in trouble and you can name 20 clubs + where the same would apply. Chelsea just got done because they were dealing with lens.

Tells you something about dealing with those french. Lower case usage intentional.

hj - you got alot of hope in you dude.

That's why he's not a betting man :o

Wenger better take note of this. He has a thing for nicking little boys from other clubs :erm:

No, I'm a Chelsea fan. For fanboism check the dictionary under dbecks :p

Anyway... the English rules about recruitment is such that London clubs are very ruthless about the catching the best youngsters in their "field of influence". London clubs have to stick to London and even certain parts of London - so stealing will invariably happen... no matter what club it is. You were also mistaken about Jon Harley FYI.

Also - as far as 11 year olds are concerned... it isn't actually stealing. Just offering a better deal. The whole poaching issue is with kids that are 16+... that have been with the club for a number of years. Therefore the compensation that is paid out to these clubs once players are poached. What club can claimed to have "spent an excessive amount of money" on training an 11 year old? That's just bullschit. Identifying talent i another thing altogether, but training them... bollocks.

and what about the Adrian Mutu story ? Chelsea want to ruin this guy's future.Since Romans millions chelsea have been bullying other clubs around. How can mutu pay 17million back.Everyone in Italy and most of the media are disguisted at your club's behaviour.

I don't really give a flying fck what the media thinks to be honest. If anything - all these negative reports will just help Roman finally decide to boot Kenyon. As for how fair the whole saga is... fck Mutu. No one forced him to become a coke-head. People should learn to pay for their stupidity.

Many have.....

Why does this not upset me?

Maybe its got something to do with being a Man U supporter? :D

Wrong. I don't really care about Mutu and I personally think that he should pay for his mistakes. I would have preffered them to cut down the amount asked for by a large margin but then again... if bad publicity on this scale is what it takes to get Kenyon out of office... so be it. It might be Machiavellian - then again... I don't really care.

Mutu's own fault. He doesn't do cocaine he doesn't have this issue. He should pay for his mistakes. Only has himself to blame. Those who do drugs must be made examples of.

he was suspended for 7 months and had to pay a fine of 20 000 dollars. That was fine , but why must chelsea continue harassing 5 years later ?
