China Spying SA Using Cell Towers

With most cell companies using Huawei products on Cell towers, don't you think the Chinese could spy on us using backdoors on these systems. Seems huawei and zte are the front runners of the 5G world domination.

5 Eyes have been doing it for decades...they pretty pissed that the Chinese are now replicating their model and not wanting to share..

Yeah.... quite possibly.... though not entirely sure what they would gain from spying on us....
 
I saw they fitting fresh new Huawei Antennas on the tower up road.
 
Just encrypt your data or vpn if you that concerned, this is a non issue if you have encryption ...

It is alleged (not proven) by those who spied on you for decades (and it is proven).

including your own government, which would concern me a great deal more than it does if they had proven themselves vaguely competent at anything at all.
 
I know a business man who bought a machine, when he just park near any cellphone tower, he could listen to any call, cut them, etc. Government took the device, case is currently pending, and he is not Chinese. The device did cost a few million. I know the CIA also got access to all our networks. Most cheap Chinese cctv can send info to their motherland.

and I've got a friend that went back to the future. He said Bitcoin is going to double by the end of April, so I'm using my savings for Bitcoin. Well he is, I paid him my money and he said he'll meet me in the future with my money doubled.

Erm, no backdoors needed. SA govt has been able to spy since Vodacon and EMPTY-N have been in business

He may not be Chinese, but he definitely is imaginary.....
