China - Taiwan Developments

Could you shout to the entire world that you are clueless about history any louder if you tried?
Support your otherwise unsupported opinion, quoting from the text of the agreement. Thanks.

They were called the Minsk Agreements, they were signed by Zelensky and they granted progressive self-determination to...
THE DONBAS
And no, they weren't honoured. So there is an outstanding amount of hypocrisy regarding who should be allowed self-determination.

Oh, dear. Looks like I'm going to have to post the facts for the 23rd time soon...

The text of the negotiated settlement is actually quite clear. If you have to explain it, you're doing something wrong.

Oh I don't need to quote squat.. You shouted from the roof tops that you're clueless enough for the entire world to hear...
Baseless accusation is baseless... The text exists. Use it to prove... whatever you're claiming.

Riddle me this oh amazing intellect of zero neurons.. Who signed it and who broke it?

I look forward to pissing myself laughing when you get it wrong BTW.
There was no ceasfire, there was no pullout of heavy weapons and the provisions for "self-determination with regard to language" were not honoured. Oh, and of course, Point 4 of the agreement.

Those are PLA troop exercises. They're not seal colony concentrations. Now you know.

It really does help when you caption a diagram. Now what dots represent the PLA? Red or pink or both? And what is the significance and dates?

No no buttercup, who signed them and who broke them... Not some random link to a site.
Don't you like pro-Ukraine websites? If you want to compare the 2015 signatories to Zelensky's subsequent statements (vs his actions), YOU can tell me what he was thinking.

Squint hard, drink a shot and then allow the dots to merge.

Oh, dear. Here we go for the 23rd time:

Civilian deaths per year:

25 in 2021
26 in 2020
27 in 2019
55 in 2018
117 in 2017
112 in 2016
954 in 2015
2084 in 2014

We can see that more than half each year from 2018 onwards were caused by unexploded munitions and mines.

Total conflict-related casualties in Ukraine in 2014-2021:

OHCHR estimates the total number of conflict-related casualties in Ukraine from 14 April 2014 to 31 December 2021 to be 51,000–54,0008: 14,200-14,400 killed (at least 3,404 civilians, estimated 4,400 Ukrainian forces9, and estimated 6,500 members of armed groups10), and 37-39,000 injured (7,000–9,000 civilians, 13,800–14,200 Ukrainian forces11 and 15,800-16,200 members of armed groups12).

If it's not clear to those who refuse to comprehend, the figures above indicate that conflict-related deaths dramatically reduced in 2015 (by more than half), then reduced by a further 89 percent in 2016, held steady for a year, then reduced by an additional fifty percent (on the 2016/2017 number) in 2018, and another fifty percent (on the 2018 number) from 2019 onwards.

If anything those numbers appears to demonstrate a radical reduction in hostilities and, in the absence of other information, may in fact point to peace being achieved in the 'disputed' region.

Of course, Russia then rolled its tanks over the border and literally pulverised that trend.

"Objective standards mean that defense is justified. Unjustified aggression is not. Aggression could be justified if it averts an obvious impending war. Given that Ukraine was not planning to attack Russia and that the OBJECTIVE numbers tell us that the numbers of killed civilians were dropping almost exponentially from 2014 to 2021, and that Ukraine had asked for UN peacekeepers but Russia refused, there is no way to OBJECTIVELY justify Russia's war of aggression."

No.. I asked you 2 specific questions in relation to your initial post.. The site you linked to is irrelevant really.

So Taiwan can't decide its own future then? Just like Ukraine?
LMFAO ... you do realise the UN and the USA and essentially ALL countries that matter on the world stage view Taiwan is part of China

oh the delicious irony comparing to Ukraine ... so you tell me, can Donbass decide it's own future apart from Ukraine? because that is the exact same comparison if you say Taiwan can decide it's own future apart from China

you choose, either you stand with both China and Ukraine against their respective breakaway republics, or you stand against them ... or you are a pathetic hypocrite

you really only have those three options, I know which one is the truth though ;)

Anyone anti West is OK by you and the US is always at fault?
consistency is OK by me, do you support any and all breakaway republics or only the ones that suit your brainwashed western narrative?

Squint hard, drink a shot and then allow the dots to merge.

Ah, thanks for admitting you have no clue about what you posted. Just some random stuff that you thought would make it look like you knew what you were talking about...
