The ZTE contracts i saw a few months back before the roll out started were paying entry level SA engineer salaries for experience positions so naturally they gonna go with their own engineers who have rolled out their own equipment before. We not talking so much about the dudes hoisting up the equipment

I have met some pretty lazy engineers. They never do anything coz they're always "checking the controls" and making sure it's within safe limits...paranoid androids the whole lot of them! I say build!lol

It will be unfair if one team does not have to use any 'quota' players and be allowed to hire player according to their skil ! You're right, South Africa's Department of Home Affairs should only issue work permits to equitable immigrants that can teach the country's Malemas to play rugby at schools.

yep, pretty much.I have heard some funny stories about these guys trying to do other technical tasks other than what they are trained to do.

There was an article in the weekend Argus about Chinese immigrants who come to work in the townships for a R3000 salary because they say it's better than their life in China, even though they now have violent crime to worry about and live in a shipping container. They seem to consider themselves lucky to immigrate into a township in South Africa
