The evidence of corruption is so overwhelming as to be completely indisputable.
Everybody knows these guy's took money to award contracts, I really don't know why we are even debating it.
They should be prosecuted, end of story.

Some countries have a real tax base instead of the 5,5 odd million in this county. Like 98% of taxi owners and drivers don't pay tax! Never mind the unemployment rate is 29%? (seen somewhere here, similar.) Well with 5.5 million tax payers actually the real unemployment rate is more like 70%. 54% not including the informal economy. Guesstimates but you get the point. Plus we love spending money on dumb things, or not spending it at all (with no consequences.)

Yeah I think they probably don't pressure him as much because its not a "real" news show so he can get away with more. I'm interested to see what SABC satellite TV's going to be like, I wonder if they'll dare to carry any international news channels e.g. BBC etc.?

LONDON (Reuters) - The government confirmed on Wednesday that six corruption probes are under way against the country's biggest defence contractor, BAE Systems.

Solicitor General Mike O'Brien told parliament that the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) was looking into corruption claims against BAE over deals in South Africa, Tanzania, Romania, Chile, the Czech Republic and Qatar.

The government has come under criticism after the SFO dropped a probe in December into a giant BAE arms deal with Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Tony Blair has said pursuing the case would have harmed national security. His attorney general concluded prosecution was unlikely to succeed

I want it to succeed against BAE in SA, then at least the people with access to things like the internet will at least know conclusively that the Arms Deal in this country was corrupt instead of just suspecting it.
