Chrome privacy changes

meh... old news already. I wasn't too concerned when I saw the language in the license agreement. There is often a lot of weird crap in those agreements that never gets acted on. Was silly to let it creep in... but I'm glad they took it out though.

Google can kiss my a$$. First they install spyware on your computer (remember the Google toolbar?) Now they're trying to pull this *****. Don't tell me they don't have a whole army of lawyers going through the EULA before sending it out. They knew exactly what they were doing with that clause, they were just hoping not to get caught out. "Do no evil", yeah right.

Big Brother anyone? (think 1984, not the kuk TV show :p)

Huh, I remember reading a long time ago that Google was developing software that would use your PC microphone to eavesdrop on ambient audio from radio and TV, and then display relevent advertising, don't know if that's still in the pipes, kind of freaky.

I will say that I think Google search is the best. I literally never use any other search engine, tried cuil when it came out haven't looked at it much since though...

Kinda stupid of them to assume that nobody would read it then?

It said in the clause itself that they wanted to use it solely for promotional purposes. They retracted the whole thing with no problems so I doubt how malicious this really was.

Does Chrome render javascript and ajax correctly or is it just my pc?
I can't use some features in facebook for example, like the chat option wont allow me to go offline or online, also the all friends tab doesnt work.

Good thing I don't use Google Chrome, whatever it is :D
I have internet-based access to so much IP it's not even funny. Especially work-related stuff. My boss wouldn't be happy if I "gave away" rights to the stuff

That was a problem.. the new version seems to have fixed it. Try updating it with the about page
