Google may soon give Chrome OS users access to Android apps in the Google Play Store, according to a report.

This has been in the pipeline for some time now.
You can already compile android apps for Chrome and Chrome OS, and repackage some existing apps.

This would be nice. I like the idea of Chrome books, but the idea of no apps really for the OS has been a issue. Once android apps becomes available, I think a lot more people will be willing to buy a Chromebook. I would not mind me a Google Pixel. Damn, those things are nice looking.....but SOOOO expensive

With 16GB drives it will probably not be possible to install too many of these apps.
