Chromecast Supersport

Hi,

Probably been discussed before but;

I have an LG smart TV with webOS 3.0 but want to stream Supersport.
The built in browser goes all the way to the streaming section, starts loading the video but then fails due to DRM.

I can Miracast from my SS app on my phone but the quality is not great as it's displaying a lot less pixels on a much larger screen.

So I want to stream directly from the SS website which streams at a higher res. Exactly as if I was connecting a laptop and using the TV as a screen.

So my question is; if I buy a Chromecast, will I be able to open Chrome in Chromecast and logon to SS website and stream from there, or will it also be blocked?

I've tried it. Works perfectly. Quality is amazing too.

I do that, streaming rarely works due to their k@k website and the quality is not great as it's like 200p

Have you purchased the Chromecast and streamed directly from the SS/DStv Now website as the quality would be better. I'm looking at purchasing this as well for the exact same reason as you
