Chrome's secret power

But did you know it could do this?

No I just use it as a very good browser!

Alistair forgot to mention Chrome-to-Phone.

Most probably the most amazing feature of Chrome for me. I just click on a link, picture, etc. and beam it to my phone.

As easy as that.

What for? Sound good tho.

Say you see a cool wallpaper or image on a web site, then you just right-click on it and select "Chrome-to-phone". Then your phone will immediately receive the download link from your web browser, you can just tap on it & it will download it to your phone. :)

Who needs it, with FireFox on my phone that sync with my desktop the same history and bookmarks are available on both.

about:about tells you all the about:~ tags.
Now how do they get two Google accounts to work simultaneously? It won't work in their Flagship Chrome, but it does work in Firefox! Ever tried to have two or three Google Mail accounts open at the same time in Chrome? Yeah right!

Forgot to mention Voice Recognition API for web forms in Chrome 11 dev build..

easy as <input type="voice" size="10" />

something mozilla will flop and fck about with eventually coming out with a 200Mb stack that pulls down your whole system when you use it. Sorry FF fanboys... but your browser is a memory hog with a sub-standard javascript engine.

Chrome-to-phone beams a wallpaper link, location from Google Maps, etc to your phone.

Got nothing to do with sync.

I know what it does, use to use it. In FireFox when I have a wallpaper open on my desktop, I just open my FireFox on my phone and that page will be in my phone's history. If I have background data turned off I have to manually sync so in essence its user more of the same use.

Frustating for me as well. I use the Incognito tab to login other accounts at the same time - still not ideal solution

I have 8 gigs ram that I paid enough for, if its there surely my browser is welcome to use 200 Mb of it, never had an issue with JavaScript. The day Chrome allows me to do proper script blocking, add block plus, and no I am not talking the weak blocking the chrome one does now, I'll switch. It has all the features of Chrome plus more.

Chrome is cool... but I just don't get the same user experience as when using Firefox. I'll stick with Firefox for now. Thanks.
I only use Chrome when I need to log into other family accounts for Gmail or Facebook, etc.

+1
I tried chrome for a while and although it's quick to the draw when starting up, FF just works way better. Chrome crashes too often (flash) and my Google maps don't always render properly. Also, live bookmarks in FF are brilliant... the addon for chrome sucks.
