As much as I enjoy Chuck they should have killed it after last season.End on a high note.I only see it going downhill :(
 
The ratings weren't good enough, that is why they wanted to can it. Had it not been for the fans....

The length of the season also had a huge part to play in that, way too long for my liking as well.

As for the Kung-fu thing, the network wanted a huge change as a deal to keep the show going. They wanted a more darker Chuck. If they didn't do something drastic, season 2 would have been its last.

I just hope the trademark Humour isn't lost or it would just kill the show. I like the show. I hope it sees at least 4 seasons. Even if it means 13 episode seasons.

I'm not totally impressed with the start of the season. I really hope ep3 and beyond are better or they may very well battle for a fourth season.
