Poor state of affairs for the majority of South African websites - banking, insurance, retail, private or government.

Any moment now they are going to sue someone for exposing their failings.

Come to mention it, what happened to that case ?

Almost seems to be that in Q4 of every year security on websites go for a snooze. I guess more of those to come and also explains why POPI has all those nice exclusions.

Government don't like paying fines for its ****ups, so easier to manipulate laws in protecting themselves and their cadres.
