Make one up? Get a regular USB-RS232 (NOT USB-TTL!) adapter, and follow one of the many guides online to construct an adapter for it?

Saw an article about a guy making ESP8266-based substitutes for old Hayes modems, aimed at the retrocomputing crowd.

Sounds like a good alternative for you, possibly? RJ-45, Max3232, ESP8266, powered by a cellphone charger/power bank.
