Thanks

How old are they?
What kind of environment were they in?

I may be interested in taking them off your hands

Hi MDK

Not sure of age but they are from a corporate environment

The 24 Port POE switch is 100 %

The other 12 Port Gig switch is all working, one of the metal things that secures the cable to the port is lose on 1 of the ports only

Not sure how to explain it but if you send me your email address i can send you a pic of what i mean

You can mail me on [email protected] as well and we can talk

I paid ALOT more than that
Indeed. For gigabit 24 port cisco switch R500 does seem to be low balling it even for just the 24 port.

OP you need to post more info on the 12 port...given info is inadequate.

Ah screw that. Post it here. Be sure to link to image though, rather than embedding the image - that way only those interested need download it.

That was without honour....

Anyway OP I hope you get a fair price for your gear.

Thanks Guys

Not sure if you worked with the cisco stuff before but these are from from what you will call "Switches" :-)

A cisco switch with POE alone will set you back 30k - 50k new, corporate switches that is

OP make sure you posted to classifieds too - there are some random post count restrictions in place, but I'm sure that can be worked around.

I said R500 a joke
Was the grave you dug yourself previously not deep enough?

Will post it as open offers and see what the guys come back with

I know POE switches are a dim a dozen these days with the CCNP and CCIE guys guys doing VOIP and WLAN

Reality "Bytes"

Lol, you'll guys are killig me
Thow in another "0" then we can talk ;-)
Why would someone want to buy such expensive switches when you can get 3550 & 3560 at a reasonable price ?
3550 series has a twelve port gig switch -- either fixed or GBIC's and can run the enhanced image ( layer three )
Just have a look on BidorBuy for the bargains

OP -- non-one in SA has any money anymore -- you may have to adjust your expectations

Corporate or commercial guys want to buy original Cisco with support backup and guarantee
