I dont see the issue, 80% of the car is still the old *** thing from back in the day, sure it was cheap & practical but how safe were they really? and to spend almost 100K on it? Im not to sure, same reason Toyota discontinued the Tazz, it was in all essence a peice of sh*t.
 
To be honest...the Citi golf of late has never been cheap as some would suppose. A cheap car with bare essentials like a steering wheels and windows and paint on the body have to be 50k or less...where do VW come up with 80k+???

If you bought a VW citi after its reincarnation...I'm sory to inform you of your pending EPIC FAIL!

Erm...yes...that's generally what happens when you sell a car...:rolleyes:

The RunX was very popular, and many of them are now reaching trade in stage...so why shouldn't there be a lot of them on the market????:rolleyes:
 
I think someone earlier was correct - VWSA is going to relaunch the MK2 Golf as a "Citi 2" or something.

that would be interesting ...when sales are down just relaunch a citi....great idea...it wud prob be more eco-friendly and this tym have abs and power steering should come standard
