i wonder how much it will cost if they reintroduce the mk2 lol....MK1 entry level 1.4 TenaCiti 1.4i R84,700 so that means the mk2 will be double the price just for the entry level vehicle

Why can't VWSA just sell us a CURRENT supermini like the Lupo/Fox! Why must we be happy with old stripped down crap? They are insulting us as a nation and that is one of my big gripes against volkswagen.

Its not about looks at all here - it is about spec level. The Gol will no doubt be a better equipped car than the rehashed trash they will try to con us with.

Personally it has a bit of Tiguan in it if you ask me - one of the few VAG products I actually like.

oh my word that Gol is ugly. arrgh. its like a cross beween a Sandero, Corsa, and a few other things. and by that I mean they took the worst of each!

Look at it this way - if you get it as a replacement for the Citi - it looks a million times better.

Brilliant idea! However, VW will probably go the Brazilian route with the Gol, and I could happily live with that, too!!
