Clareinch (Claremont Exchange) Congested

From TelkomZA, this morning.

ESR port was finally de-loaded last night

Will have to monitor for a couple of days to make sure they moved enough traffic off the interface but you should have seen an improvement last night.
 
Had a lengthy bout of email tennis between myself, and regional ops manager Clifford Ross the past few days... lets see if this holds
 
Morning guys what type of turn around time did Telkom give you guys when the problem initially arose?

First record of the problem was apparently in April. I guess at this stage it was still intermittent. I reported and confirmed the problem with TelkomZA on 24/07.

Hooray! It doesn't have to be perfect, but FGS at least have it functional...

I'm happy for you guys because I'm am currently still in this boat. I know how it feels :(. I searched high and low to see if other people are having issues like me in the same area(IM ON SWARTKLIP EXCHANGE) I cant find anything. See it makes sense when many people reply to a thread like this you know its because of congestion. When you are the only one complaining in a whole area lol that's when I start to get worried. The only time my line is perfect is like at 4-5 AM rest of the day its FORKED.

It might just be something specific to your port then. I'm guessing you've asked Telkom to reset it?

Yes Zolly I have done that. No luck.

I can't upload any pictures as trying to open a webpage takes longer than 5 mins. **** you telkom.
