Classic Car Insurance

My friend want to buy a Ford Capri 3.0l, 1972 model.
Problem is he can't seem to get insurance on it.

Can anyone help/know where one can go about getting it insured?

Got a 1976 Land Rover Series II i'm busy restoring. (Was my grand mothers)

Will probibly only get 3rd party insurance on it. I've got no idea how to calculate the value of such a old car.

That outsurance product isn't any good, it's only for cheap old cars. Not classics. These are the guys I use.

See if you can find a club for the car; they often have a broker who will do that sort of insurance. Heck, try contacting any of the classic car clubs, and they can probably point you in the right direction.

Did you ever come right with this insurance? I'm in the same boat with my 1978 fiat x19. Nobody wants to insure it.
