My laptop screen is filthy - really needs a good clean (dust, marks, alles).

Don't want to mess it up by putting something I shouldn't on it.

Advice would be great, thanks :)

Either buy some fancy screen cleaning product or take the sane approach and wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

I use a bit of mr min or sunlight liquid, put tiny bit onto damp cloth, must not be wet!
Also use a cloth that doesnt mark, has hard material etc, go find those soft fluffy yellow ones they sell at P&P.
Give the screen a soft whipe while lappy is off obviously... make sure you dont squeeze any water out onto the screen.

Water and a microfibre cloth. I use it on laptops, LCD's and Plasma's it does not scratch and removes almost anything even oily finger marks.

I use a soft cloth and the clear windolene spray :)

Works very well, just don't press too hard on the display or it'll break ;)

A damp cloth (water) - those blue ones that come on a roll work just fine.

Never spray anything directly onto the screen.

makro sell lcd cleaning wetwipes - they just look like non alcoholic baby wet wipes.
I purchased before that a 3 x bottle cleaning kit cause it said screen cleaning, dust on the other and foam on the last, only when you take it out and read the instructions does it say NOT for LCD's so don't buy the bottles, just if you do buy anything, then probably get the wet wipe thingys for LCd screens

Hydrogen Dioxide and any lint free cloth, just don't use anything with alcohol in it.

wouldn't happen to have a name for it bru ........ Makro is very far from me :D

Lol, sorry man. I'll check later. Pretty sure it just says LCD Cleaner or something to that effect, but it's great. Comes with everything, including a little brush to remove the dust from your screen first, especially in the corners of your screen.

I will never have to touch my LCD again, it's so big, you just need to point!

Damp cloth is Apple's directive as well. It is the best thing to do. If you get anything on there that cannot be wiped away with it, what did you do??!!!? ;)

I use small and old underpants with water :p ;) :D LOL, I'm serious, they are red and they don't leave anything behind on the screen, it works, beautifully! :p

I heard that pee(yes, the yellow liquid from your willy) can help out because of something in it. Just pee in a bucket, get a cloth, and make the cloth a damp, then wipe away. The use a dry cloth to get rid of the liquid on the screen
