I am super down with feeling lazy and slow and just tubby!!

I want to cleanse my system and destroy my tummy fat!!

It just that my body feels so sluggish all the time. When I do get it going I love doing Hiit sessions.

But what is the best way of cleansing your body... fruit diet for a few days with plenty of water?

If so, what fruit is best?

The problem with fruit is if the sugar isn't needed for immediate energy, it will turn to fat. Maybe try the Holford's Diet in conjunction with exercise, that way you get everything you need in suitable quantities.

There is no such thing as cleansing your body. Your liver does that every single day. If it didn't you would die.

The feeling is caused by putting kaak into your body today and then the same kaak in tomorrow. Just don't do it tomorrow. No special restrictive diet needed just eat sensible, nutritional food.

Exercise!

Detoxing has no scientific proof that it works (and or does not work) but what is true is that sufficient exercise and eating correctly is the only real solution.

When I start feeling lazy, I start to exercise again and within the week I start feeling better, start eating better as I stop craving junk and start losing weight.

+1 to that. Detox is a load of mentalising rubbish. Healthy eating IS detoxifying. You need the gym.

Patrick Holford?! No

True story!

Patrick Holford is a quack. I do not take anything from him seriously.

Patrick Holford makes some good points in his books but I've learnt to take everything at face value as there is no canned solution.

The best is to speak to a dietician who will give you a customized eating plan along with some recommended exercise routines.

Dude cleansing won't remove belly fat, only diet will. You would not need to detox or feel like you need to if you ate well. You cannot destroy belly fat, it is the hardest to remove. You can exercise yourself broken but if you eat poorly your belly fat will remain.

Fresh fruit, veggies and good meat/fish will do the trick. Oats in the morning with say a banana, apples, grapes, water melon. Fruit is very important. Not fruit juice. Cut out rubbish like soda's. If you are going to snack on something bad for you do it but don't go over board.

Research fruits that help lose weight, apples are good, grape fruit is amazing and water melon is also pretty good when you feel like eating rubbish because it's so yummy and good for you.

I dont think there is much meat in the whole detox thing. As was said before...that is what your liver is for and it does a amazing job at this. I just happeend to come across this tonight though and it seems like there might be some to this:

Because of its unique ability to bind with mercury, lead, and cadmium, Chlorella vulgaris has become increasing popular as a heavy metal "detoxifier". Studies demonstrate that it has a superior ability to (safely) draw toxic metals that accumulate in the gut and intestinal tract.[9][10][11] Like blue-green algae, clinical studies on Chlorella suggest effects including polychlorinated dibenzodioxins detoxification in humans [12] and animals,[13] healing from radiation exposure in animals[14] and the ability to reduce high blood pressure, lower serum cholesterol levels, accelerate wound healing, and enhance immune functions in humans.[15]

never used it or anything. Just came across it on Wikipedia.
