I was helping a little guy out with Deadmines the other day. Never doing it with my level 78, I figured when I killed Van Cleef I'll get the achievement (which I did)

Now this made me wonder. What other content is solo'able on level 78-80? I'm trying to do my achievements to the full and woudn't mind not having to pug with a group with my lag and disconnecting being this much

Up till which Dungeon is this possible?

My friend has a level 80 pally, and he said he can solo all the dungeons in classic wow and tbc. Not sure how many northend can be done.

This is also very class dependant :p

+1 to above, depending on class. And also you can solo normal Nexus on 80. Well, I did on my shaman for the past world events

Pretty much anything up to to Northrend is soloable with the right classes.

Some of the Northrend ones on normal mode can be solo'd, particularly if you're a class with Stealth and good gear.

I've played around with solo'ing ZG which seems to be pretty common with DK's for the Tiger mount.
Well, most of ZG. Hakkar isn't soloable to my knowledge nor are quite a few of the MC bosses.

I rate any class that can tank and heal can clear anything up to Wrath, even some raid instances.

Squishies have a harder time. Most of the solo firsts are paladins, druids, hunters(a tank pet, the ability to heal said pet, massive dps, kiting, cc and the ability to reset any encounter? yeah...) and recently death knights.

Haven't really gone out to solo instances as a prot warrior find it just takes to long. But I do a weekly visit to MC with 2 friends, sad I know but yes trying to get the sword and all though we usually just knock over the bosses for the binding its fairly easy to clear with 3. The 4 priests are a bit of a challenge but they eventually run out of mana and then die quickly.

While a lot of the earlier dungeons are solo-able, doing something stupid will still get you killed. I remember dying with my druid at lvl50 in Stockades. The mobs would flee when the health gets low, and then return pulling another 2-3 mobs with them. I was facing about 20+ mobs at the same time when I died. I was not happy about that :mad:

With the right gear and tactics, I believe it should be possible to solo most, if not all of the Classic and TBC dungeons, as well as some of the raid bosses.

yea you have to pick your spots. The only damage I did was with thorns and van cleef's army dissapated. The most I pulled was 12 I think.

FYI, I forget this sometimes, so don't you.... Shift into NE and Shadowmeld. It breaks aggro and will save you a death run

WiT8litZ. +1 for keeping the shammys up there. can you maybe gimme a link to your armory, I wanna check what gear you got to be able to solo Nexus. I'm to scared to attempt it and pay 35g for the repair, so first wanna do a gear comparison.

It actually happened before the 3.0.1 patch, so it was still on the old shadowmeld that didn't break combat.

I am getting better at tanking though. Now I can take about 6-7 mobs at my own level at the same time and still survive comfortably. Some of it is due to new talents and skills (Glyph of Maul), but mostly I just got used to a bit of tanking, like using swipe to build up rage.

At 80 almost all dungeons up to Northrend can be solo'ed. Only one to my knowledge can't be, Uldaman.
Heroic Outland dungeons are a bit more tricky, but you can still do them with some patience. And if you really have patience raid dungeons like Zul'gurub can be solo'ed (I only managed a few bosses though with my hunter, and with the help of a second hunter we cleared the instance). That was still early days in wotlk though and I have not tried it recently with much better gear.
Onyxia is quite fun to solo, and it feels great to kill a 40 man raid dragon solo :)
Clearing trash in MC, and AQ40 is possible, but the rewards are low. I just did AQ40 to gather a few free mounts, and MC for some core leather.

Have not attempted any Northrend dungeons solo, but I guess with T8 gear it will become a possibility.

I can't see someone doing BT solo at the moment, even with a Pally. Maybe with T8 gear they could but thats got to be really tough.

Yeah, we 20 manned BT with lvl 80's, but flew through it...sure we could have done with with 15 or even 10 people.

Illidan still hits damn hard though :p Tank almost died due to healers slacking :p

did a few lowby instances the other night with my gnome lock, to get the achievements. Notably RFC in Orgrimaar. Was fun running in. I should have done the fishing thing as well. Ah well. another night.

Wailing Caverns took ages. I got lost. I forgot how annoying that place is. And Mauraudon...... not sure how I found the entrance, but it did.
