Looks like all the Closer Options have some free standard minutes now.
Any idea how to find out how many you have?

Wasn't it always 1000 minutes?

No, you didn't get any free standard time minutes on Closer 2, whereas you now get 30.

But yeah, not so useful if you can't find out how many you've used so far. For that matter, I'd like to be able to know how much is outstanding on my account at any time - if the cellphone providers can do it, I think Telkom should too. Only getting a bill at the end of the month doesn't help you to manage your spending.

The information is available on Telkom's website under online billing - although not realtime as it only seems to be updated once a day.

Really? That's pretty good - they told me that online billing is only updated at the end of the month, when your printed statement is generated.

I'll have to try it out when I get my account number on my first statement :)

Got rid of closer 3 - Telkom have taken it too far - you can phone 10210 and talk a human - the call centre success all thanks to Telkom - sit waiting, then you have to give your details to get your balance - sort of puts you at risk
