Wife already dropped a few designs for T's. I will most def. have a few distributed to MyBB users so they can give us feedback. Call it market research ;)
 
You can get the details on how to register a CC and protect intellectual property (I'm not sure if your label and designs would fall into this category) here:
http://www.cipro.co.za/products_services/cc_registration.asp
(somewhere on that website you're able to search for name to see if they're taken.)

Registration of a CC can be done at most Accountants. We used the local one up the road from us. Have a look in your local newspaper for accountants. They can manage your wage, VAT and tax bills too (quite cheap too).

I think it would be a good idea cause you do not want some one else to start making stuff with your name on it. When me and a friend was looking into starting a Label of our own that was the advice we got. (If you end up taking over the world like Levi you want to own the name):D
 
I reckon if you start making some of the T's like on thinkgeek you could take a fortune. Would love to get some of them but the shipping is too expensive!

The label is very versitile. And can cover a range of themes. Currently the designs she has in mind is more of a "I'm a bad ass" look with catchy phrases. I want to however also get a range going for the IT/Nerd guys. As I said it's still in development but it is a go. So we have plenty of room to work with still :)
 
Dont waste your money and adams adams trade marks - you can easily do it yourself.

Essentailly download forms (2 forms) from cipro. 1st form (Price has gone up, and cant remember what it is R200 or R280??) is for a search of the name - if they let you register it, then you can submit form2 (maybe R400?) for the regsitration.

Forms TM1 and TM2 is what you need. TM1 is the first form to submit.

Could anyone advice me on where to find a local custom t-shirt manufactor in SA

We are all ready to go with designs and have registered our clothing label but are finding it hard to find a ctm. We want to kepp the clothing label 100% local.

ANY HELP please, it would be greatly appriciated
