Clubview, Centurion ADSL Problems

I had some issues a while back, My speeds dropped considerably and latency was high. I did manage to sort it out eventually when Telkom put me on another DLSAM switch at my exchange.

-- 012 654
-- 4Mb
-- Openweb (Internet Solutions)
-- The only time it did work properly was during the early morning hours of the day.


I will post how I got to the solution soon and link it here, since I'm not too sure how many people will see it here.

I'm on 012 665 and I've also had massive issues with my 4Mbps line for the last two months now. I've finally managed to get them to move me to a new port, so here's hoping!

They've also sent me an sms stating that they are doing upgrades in the area and that we shouldn't be surprised by downtime.

For the last 6 weeks I have been battling with my ADSL line between 18h00 and 22h00 during the week and from around 15h00 to 22h00 over the weekends.

Please excuse my ignorance, but how do you identify which exchange you are on?

www.broadbandstats.co.za < put your number there and it will tell you what excahnge you are on

goto the thread link sakkie posted all the info we got from telkom is there, this is for clubview too

ADSL completely down at the moment. Worked fine this morning but died about 2 hours ago.
