Ha! Just got an email from CNN in London, they coming to my dorp to cover the shipwreck (see thread about my back garden) and are thinking about doing a bit on our unique town, the history , the people and the future....

I run a website to try and preserve the history of my town and in all honesty with all the politicians and officials trying to make a buck had started to lose faith in it's future.....

I have offered to take them on a tour of the town and environs, giving them a history lesson, letting them know what should have happened to my town.....thus arming them with "real questions" to ask the local leadership.....

No fancy scripting mind you, built it back in the day to preserve the memories of the folk that lived on the diamond fields of South West Africa /Namibia...... The forum section is active to this day .....friends reunited.....we , from this small town, are scattered to all the continents, I still receive a card from Japan.....
