can someone please confirm that the timeframe before new contact details are visible is 5 days? Is this standard with the EPP system when you update your contact details?

Why is this so? The 24 hour waiting for ticket votes sucked on the legacy system but atleast contact details could be changed in 24 hours!

Yep, up to 5 days is unfortunately standard with the EPP system. :-/
