CoD MW connection issue

There are issues with the WACS cable again. Hence the reason for connectivity issues with Blizzard servers. Been struggling myself to download the update today after 3 attempts I managed to finish it.

And I quote:

Major international outage affecting WACS and SAT3 submarine cable systems which deliver traffic from South Africa to International Destinations. Some Vox’s customers may experience problems with increased latency and packet loss to international destinations. Cable repair ship (Leon Thevenin) is currently at break site (SAT3), provisional ETTR has been set for 03/04/2020. WACS Outage fibre break on segment 4 at 39.0175KM testing from Highbridge CLS, No ETTR can be confirmed at present. Further feedback to follow.

I have a friend who is playing on a RAIN connection and has no connection issues, but I have constant connection issues on Afrihost.
 
If you're on any provider who was using WACS or SAT3 you wont be having a good time (afrhihost MTN LTE is my current ISP and I am also unable to login)

Login servers are hosted in Ireland, only way I could log in last time our cable broke was with a VPN to use a different upstream provider, but playing the game through VPN isn't very fun.
 
Anyone having issues finding warzone games after the patch tonight?

We're not finding any games, local or international. Just searches forever. Downdetector shows many reports in SA and EU.

That's strange. I was playing Warzone with friends from before 21:00 until after 22:00 last night. First couple of games was based somewhere in the EU, as the latency was 180-200ms, while the last two games were local with a latency of around 25ms.

We were trying at around 20:00 to 20:30, tried changing regions and restarting clients and PCs etc. We gave up eventually. Have also had very strange problem of no friends showing up in Battlenet, have to find each other through the regiment screen. Will be trying tonight again.

No such problems for us. The only problem is that one friend's could see us, but got a error 'Rembrandt' when trying to join us. We could however join him.
