I have been playing around with different combos with regard to perks and weapons in COD4 and was wondering what other people find the best...Currently I am torn between the M4 and the AK using Frags, Stopping Power and Deep impact, but I find the recoil on the Ak so bad that if you don’t hit first time you pretty much screwed. The M4 you can hold down the trigger and the recoil is so minimal you bound to kill. I can’t decide if the AK actually does have more power than the M4.....I also tried the M16A4 and that is seriously deadly using the above perks, but the burst fire starts to irritate me. :D

THe AK47 is God in the form of cheap wood and stamped steel.

I used to like the M4 when I started playing, but now I find it redundant. It's nice and accurate at medium range, but the damage fails. I'd rather use the G36 than the M4.

For long range efforts, the M16 slaughters. The burst fire doesn't really bother me... Maybe because I played so much with the G36E in Battlefield 2.

Don't Spray n Pray... Use double taps. Works in most games and IRL too. :)

Your ammo lasts a lot longer as well and you'd be suprised how your accuracy improves

Lose the deep impact...it has virtually no effect in normal combat situations.

Steady aim & stopping power rules.

The G3 is effective with stopping power. p90 works well with steady aim...but it lacks style. For some maps the light machine guns work very well too.

It all depends on the map. Which is why the 5 custom slots isn't nearly enough to allow for a suitable weapon for each map.

If you can, play without weapon attachments...they have an effect on the power & range of the gun. You can get complete lists of the weapon damage etc if you google a bit.

Skorpion or M60
Skorpion with silencer. 3 nades last stand. and stopping power
M60 with redot. deep impact. 2 rockets. and stopping power

the scorpion is the most unbalanced gun ever designed if u ask me.. its more accurate than a sniper rifle!

I got different kits, depending on what map is being played.

I switch between sniper, assault and shotgun..

Been preferring the shotgun lately.. its fun to go and hunt the campers at the back, and also if you see a crowd of people, run at them try to do some damage, and after i die, let the martyrdom grenade do the rest..
