Just hope their coding is faster than their financial reporting (by law companies are required to have financial statements within 6 months after year end and a 2024 financial year can end no later than 31 Dec 2024 - almost 9 months back)
 
The maths on this survey just do not math.

Codehesion got 34% of the vote.
For a company that is 8 years old, with only ~70 projects under its belt.
Codehesion has less than 50 employees.

So of the 1057 IT Exec respondents, somehow more 359 of them have worked AND rates Codehesion better than giants like Entelect (24 years), BBD (41 years) and Synthesis (27 years), that have 1200+ employees for BBD and Entelect, each.

That just does not add up, no matter how good Codehesion is, how do 359 IT Execs have worked with them on only 70 projects.

Was the survey only sent to the companies involved with Codehesion?

Most likely that because it's a small company, they sent out the survey to those they've worked with who answered it.

Larger, established companies like Entelect and BBD doing something like that I think would be frowned upon, I'd find it very odd if they sent a survey to a third party after rather than just directly having someone taking feedback.

Synthesis was the second most popular choice, with 17% of IT executives saying they would use it for a large software development project.

It seems like it was based on the recent survey here and if people selected them from the "who would you use for a big project".

Because of all the adverts on mybb it could also easily be "I'm selecting this because I recognise the name". So it doesn't appear to be the people only who have actually worked with them.

My company has been going 1 year shorter... but I'm probably 50 project short on their number. LOL.

They must be doing pretty well to have 50 employees... I've topped out at me + 1 to 2 other devs over the last 7 years but I'm not good at business... but I'm working at being better at it.
