Hi guys, I'm looking at getting a coffee machine for the home. We have a automatic Bean-To-Coffee machine at work and the convenience is so nice. I now got a deal on a second hand Sprada Future Coffee machine for R3000.

Does anyone own such a machine or have owned one? I don't want those Nespresso machines as It's too expensive for the pods. What would you guys recommend?

Don't know your location? If you are in JHB then consider looking at the Delonghi range of been-to-cup coffee machines.
I have this one:
http://www.delonghi.com/en-za/products/coffee/coffee-makers/bean-to-cup/ecam-23210w-0132213023
which serves my purposes, the best part is I got it as a great condition shop demo at half price, catch is you need to go to the Delonghi factory shop which is here:

My friend bought a Mcdonalds Coffee machine, I'm thinking of taking it off his hands.
I never had coffee at McDee's so... How is the quality of the coffee that comes from these machines?

Nespresso coffee is **** anyway. Don't do it if you love coffee.

I have had a Bosch/Siemens machines at home, Jura at the office. Can recommend both.

I bought one of these from Takealot just over a year ago. Back then it was R999 on special.

I'd still get one of those over any pod machine. Requires a bit of effort to make coffee though.

Edit: Urg, I posted this in the wrong thread. Two of my friends bought this machine when it was on special. I don't remember how much it set them back, but I'm sure it was far less than 6k. I've tried it as well. It's a boss machine.

Google reviews before buying.
My boss got the Severin one touch S2+ from takealot.
It started giving 'Water Supply Error'
When I googled, I found an amazon rewview that said the guy was on his 8th machine...

spent the day at the Adriatic food and equipment expo and they had this baby. Its the first one off the production line internationally. Encased in glass lit by adjustable LED's.

Have the same machine and can also vouch for it, had it 4 years now and it's still going strong. Good crema for a 'budget' machine as well, a friend has a Jura and I reckon the Delonghi makes a better cup.

I have owned a JURA "Bean-to-Cup" F50 machine for many years now, and it is perfect for our home coffee needs. I bought it years ago in Kya Sands, Randburg.
My only worry is that I now live in a small dorp in the WC, and the nearest repair place is in Cape Town, about 200 km to the west of where I live.

Great machine.
