As for me, many of my family members were murdered by the British 118 years ago concentration camps. It affected my family and all generations thereafter badly. But, we got up, moved on and made the best of a bad situation. We are not saying it never happened, but we do not blame our problems on a small thing such as mass murder.

How many of your family members who were in British concentration camps are alive today trying to make a life for themselves? This is what you don't seem to get. People who suffered through apartheid are still alive today trying to cope in the world while being unskilled, uneducated, often illiterate, traumatised, from broken homes and families. These are not the under 24 year olds who were born after apartheid ended. These are not ancestors who suffered but are now dead while their descendents are moving on. This is living memory, not history. Of course people are still sensitive about it.

Do you really think that they would've gotten the same sentence if they had money? The only influence their colour has on this is that whites the "perp", and black people support the coffin "victim". I don't give a **** for either. If it can be proved the coffin "victim" was stealing, he should be locked up right next to the morons that videoed themselves putting him in a coffin.

I can honestly say that if the situation were reversed, and 2 black guys did this to a white guy, I would still reckon they only deserve community service or a suspended sentence. The fact is, that this is not a serious crime. It simply does not warrant that kind of sentence.

Anyway, this case is a perfect example of why we should not have the death penalty.

The fact of the matter is, that the attempted murder verdict is very optimistic.
They had firearms, had him outnumbered, and had him in a coffin. Bar any kind of spy movie level skills, if they wanted to kill him, they would have.
Kidnapping, assault, intimidation and some other charges, sure. Attempted murder, naah.
