LOL - OMW!!!!! That is one of the most racist, most stupid, arrogant, ignorant things I have heard a minister of the gov say in quite a while. Its like he thinks he isnt racist, but then when he talks he just digs his grave deeper.

He should be fired for being racist to his own kind (chinese are black now).

Why is everyone on the news saying "the Chinese people were recently re-classified as coloured in a High Court ruling"? is that really what the ruling said? I thought it said that they were entitled to benefit from BEE status. Does anyone have a link to the high court ruling? I thought the whole idea was to get away from classifications, so why are the news outlets going back to this?
 
Exactly. Chinese isn't a language, but Cantonese and Mandarin is ... lol ...

These ministers are over-paid neanderthals, truthfully speaking.

I hope that they get their rights, but being clumped together with my ethnic group is a bit strange.
 
Good lord - you get some frank non-PC talk for once and every is up in arms.

All he is saying is that everyone in SA is subject to the law and you can't use ethnicity and language as an excuse.

Sure, he may alienate some people with his turn of phrase. And hopefully he stands by the warning he has issued. The colonisation of Africa by the chinese is not a good thing and he has served notice that SA is not going to tolerate little pockets of isolation.

This also means that the Somalis can go and jump back into the ocean if they think they are going to get their own little homeland in SA. FIFO applies.
 
Jeez, I don't know. Sometimes it sounds like Chinese to me.
