A couple of months ago I read on this forum that I would receive a letter from Vodacom inviting me to pick up an antenna for my Option card. I never received such a communication. Now I see that was supposed to receive a 64K SIM in the mail, likewise, nothing received (though, from what I read, maybe I should be grateful!).

I do, however, receive my accounts.

What gives?
 
Not sure. Out of interest where did you buy your contract? Which service provider?

Have a look in the FAQ and mail the people for your antenna and mention the SIM as well.

If you don't come right, PM me with your details (e-mail, contact number, etc.) and I'll forward your request.

Actually, just PM me and I'll sort it.
 
P.S. I never (to this day) got the letter about my antenna but followed v3g's instructions and requested it via email
 
Are these 64K sim's available at outlets or only by special request? I got my V800 from VodaShop in stellenbosch, and no one offered me a 64K sim.
 
Didn't receive any antenna nor 64k SIM notices either, and i do have a datacard on contract. Also went through Vodacom as SP. I merely heard about it on here, nowhere else. Since things work fine for me atm, i probably ain't going to bother with either getting a 64K SIM nor an antenna, if Vodacom wants me to get either of those i'm certainly not going to lick them to send me information.

Plus the once i did query about the SIMs they said i'll have to pay R120 for it,since i paid R120 3 months ago for a 32k sim i think it's simply a rip off to pay for a larger one now again "just because".

I did PM you, V3G, but never heard anything. Perhaps it got lost in the time of the Troubles?
