took 5-10 min for activation, useful email about sats of account.. like at current rate if it will make it till end of month etc

With them for six months now, and happy.
Although not the cheapest, I am staying with them as their service and support is good.

Was tempted with a WISP, but will only change to a WISP when and if the become Legal.
 
I think Clipse and the Cheetah-IS / Nuke-cap dudes need a pat on the back for the fastest account activation times i've ever seen!!

Credit where credit is due. It took SAOL 6 days to get back to me, but once they did they were totally organised and very quickly sorted everything out to my satisfaction. I'm very happy to stay on with them as a result.

I started with inX Five years ago, on a dial up now on an uncapped ADSL I do my hosting and e-mail with them and let me tell you they are EXCELLENT.
There prices for dial up is R70-00 for the last five years
Normal 3 GIG ADSL price cam down from R260-00 to R229.00

Openweb! :D I have had nothing but great service from openweb.

The accounts are very affordable and all the extras are great, to top it all off MR.Beep goes the extra mile, being active member in the forums, replying quickly to emails and he is always willing to work something out for you!

Also I was with web Africa :D for a while, they are very good! The support was great got my account setup in under 10 minutes. Some techy phoned me to tell me that there is some problem with my login and said I must change it because it might cause problems for me later, very good service!
 
Mexcom, 290 bucks a month for a IS 3gig (30Gig) account UNSHAPED, i do a whole lot of VPN (IPSEC) traffic and have never been cut off once.

Activation time = 5mins
Helpdesk = Excellent
Service = Fantastic

Current usage = 3.297GB's and still browsing International at 364.45Kbps

Just my 2 bytes worth....:D
 
erm....R290? that is R91 more expensive than what i'm paying for the SAME account!!

I don't think yours is unshaped for R199.00, check with your ISP.
 
IS does not offer shaped and unshaped on their Usage Based ADSL packages. All their usage based packages are shaped the same, and very little at that might I add.

They do however have no shaping implemented on their Uncapped offering, but that option certainly doesn't go for R290 per month, it is more in the region of R1500 per month.

I agree with Cableguy, R290 is VERY VERY expensive for a 3GB IS ADSL account!

Have only been sith SAOL for a month, but they Rock! Was online in no time, and not a single days downtime so far. Speeds are excellent as well, so I'm definitely getting what I pay for - what more can a user ask for?!
