Our complex wants to split our cellphone bill for our Mircom and bill homeowners individually.
The managing agents say it's hugely painstaking process which doesn't justify the time spent sifting through all the data (of course they would say that).
Is it feasible to do this, and if so, what is the best way to do it?
I'm not really familiar with these pieces of hardware, but basically it takes a regular sim iirc and you can program two contact numbers per unit.

It depends how much rent and levies you pay I would think.

Should be easy to do if you can get the bill in electronic format and then calculate costs per unit. It's also fair, why should I pay for calls to your phone when you get 20 visitors a month and I only get one?

yeah, that was the thinking. i normally just get my bills in pdf format though. do any sp's allow one to download bills in csv/xls?

Sorry, I have no idea. Hopefully someone else knows or contact the SP and tell them you require a csv/xls file instead.

Edit: Now that I think back I recall that I used to get my work account in csv or excel format and that came from Vodacom.

Autopage sends me my itemised billing in csv format. You can select the option after logging into your account on their site.

Makes it very easy for me to separate my work calls from personal calls so that my company can reimburse me.

Sounds like the bean counters have got their claws into your body corporate...
