Hi
So I recently came into possession of a "5 port USB hub" by remax.

It bears the following icons on the packaging

I'm really confused. There is no USB input on the device, just 5 output ports.

Wtf?

Those are just slapped on icons, to make the packaging look pretty.
True to form for products made in some far away Asian sweatshop.

Post a pic of the ports and the device perhaps?

It’s a USB charging hub with different amperages for different devices.

I see that, just curious about the USB Input and Sync icons on the packaging. Lank misleading IMHO.

Generally promo stuff is crap so it might work but also have no protection so if there is a surge, your equipment gets effected. Same reason why I don't use free flashdrives, they die and take your data with them.

Not remax the estate agent.
Remax is the brand of the device. Not really promo stuff...

Why are you confused? It's a ****ty cheap Chinese product with a ****ty cheap Chinese package that lies about what is inside, not exactly a mystery...

I just don’t think he expected the Spanish Inquisition...

Probably what they mean by USB input is that the IO ports are USB based so you can charge whatever devices comes with a built-in battery and a USB cable.. The only other mystery icon left then is the sync one.. Likely that means you can duplicate one flash drive to another..?
