Confused: vodacom4u + 3G data bundles

I stand corrected . You basically need to meet the vetting criteria of vodacom and your prepaid card can be converted to a Contract

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Am I bound to any sort of time period with a 4u contract? I'm not exactly sure how it differs from 4u prepaid to be honest.

4U contract means you spend first, then they bill you by debiting your bank account. During the first 3 months of the contract you can't spend more than R150. After that, you can go wild.

You can "cancel" the contract any time. There's no cancellation fee. If you are inactive for 3 months they automatically cut you off anyway.

So 4U contract is basically "postpaid" prepaid.

This sounds perfect for my needs. Thanks for the info.
