Can anyone help me shed some light on the matter as I find phoning MTN yields inconsistent results and emailing them I have to wait like a week.

It's the R79 contract in which you get R100 airtime topup and 25 sms's. You also get a Samsung Star.

Now a few questions..... What are the hidden charges that I will also be paying? Also it says this is a topup contract, does this meant that when the R100 is finished, they are not going to start charging me overtime, I will manu8ally have to buy a topup voucher? (meaning that my cellphone bill will be the SAME each month.)

Thanks for your help!

If anyone has the current MTN specials list (the pdf one) could they please give it to me? Thanks...

1. The hidden costs include R9 or so for clip (caller line identity) and around R15 for itemised billing. I'm not sure if itemised billing is mandatory.

2. Top up means that if you finish your R100 you have to buy a prepaid airtime voucher if you need more. (which means your bill will be the same every month)

I was actually considering going with the same contract but heard the nokia 5800 isn't going for much more. Also the HTC Dream is going for R99.

But it's R99 plus other costs.... I'm looking for the BEST value for money contract possible. I don't really care what phone I get cause they not gonna be that good on the cheap contracts anyway.... Basically, I'm looking at a contract purely for finding one that is going to be cheaper than buying the same amount of airtime prepaid.
