Good day forumites.
I've been lurking around this forum for the past 3-4 months, trying to find the best bb connection to suit my needs (If you can call what we have broadband).
At first I thought that iBurst would be a good option, but after the whole "disconnecting abusers" fiasco and a crappy demo, it was a no-no.
I then decided that it will have to be ADSL, as it is the most reliable, always on connection.
At last, after 7 weeks of phoning them every second day and fighting for an available DSLAM port, I am connected. I ordered ADSL 192 and will upgrade as necessary. With the telkom price cuts just around the corner, it won't be long before the 1st upgrade.
I bought myself the Billion 7202G wireless router. Awesome little bugger. I'm currently getting 256kbps downstream on the telkom speed test. Now I must just get my hands on an axxess account.
Anyhow, I just wanted to introduce myself as I hope to become an active myBB member.
