Please give your opinion of the following idea

The presentation/layout of the [post=159870]iBurst forum FAQ[/post], IMO needs to be revamped, which is really difficult to do in vbCode, and there is a 10000 character limit for posts which restricts the amount of info one can post.

Have a quick look at the News for this forum announcement, now that's done with a bit of html which is allowed in announcements, but not in posts, I feel that the presentation/layout of the iBurst FAQ could be vastly improved if it was moved into an announcement using html, for another example of what can be achieved click here...

What do iBursters think about having the iBurst FAQ in an announcement instead of post #1 in this thread?
Note: this thread would still be used to provide feedback.

Not surprised that there's a total lack of interest from iBursters...

If you were new to this forum, and needed iBurst FAQ-type info quickly, would you prefer the info neatly organised in html format with Questions that link to the relevant Answer, or would you prefer post#1 in this thread?

Great ideas IC allthough it does not apply for me!

I was proposing a proper format like this for ADSL forumites and got a lot of criticism. Is that because I am not a moderator ? How can we get the same implemented for ADSL where valuable information get evaluated, reorganized and sticky'ed so it remains available for everybody in future at a central place

Carry on the good work. We know it takes time and effort and it is appreciated

8321, I will get around to incorporating the updates you posted [I can still see them even though you have cloaked them] - will hopefully be this weekend, my plan is to link each separate forum announcement and parts thereof - especially the different answers in the FAQs - should make things a bit more interactive.

Also before anyone clobbers me, I know the html is not xhtml compliant, but I am using simple html that most browsers will render properly without disadvantaging IE users [too much] :D.
