With all the increases our municipal bill has stayed the same, just shows you how much we have decreased our usage (by however much it has gone up in Rand terms percentage wise basically).

Indeed
I am told there are a team of about 8 very clever people who run this entire country's power network. They work shifts around the clock and are paid handsomely. They do the actual work, the rest are all gravy train riders and trough feeders.

Today's schitt is likely due to someone being on leave and the brain donors were left to their own devices.

Up here in my corner of Nam, we have just received notice to expect two power cuts a day, first starts in ten minutes.... Till 8h30.....

Not helping. The way I see it, power cuts will hit the masses hardest. Those masses wanted the 'tards in government. That government thinks it can run a power utility.

Think carefully come 7 May.

Common thing amongst the cANCer load shedding is. zulema has been shedding his load for years to his wives nieces etc.
 
I'm not sure if this has been discussed but can Eskom be taken to court in a class action lawsuit for failing to provide a service that has been paid for? Consumer Protection Act?

So what. They can still be taken to court. The shareholder (government) will have to stump up money and that will mean having to cut back on some of their programs that will upset the masses who put the chumps in charge in the first place. Maybe this time they'll elect people who know what they're doing.
 
Unfortunately, I say to Eskom, go f... yourselves! Why are you trying to make your inept management of the power infrastructure MY problem? And "wet coal", I mean, seriously???

Sorry for that team of "team of about 8 very clever people", as per Koosi, but they really work for a bunch of @sses!

Spin machine in overdrive? We sorry Mr Eskom. We failed you. We never helped. We should have maintained power stations. And brought battery-operated hair-dryers to dry Eskom's damp planning. The solution? Could it be a triple tariff raise on top with gravy? An increase on the increase of the increase?
