Consumers warned against manipulating Consumer Protection Act

The Consumer Goods Council of SA (CGCSA) will monitor consumers who try to manipulate the new Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

Completely fair in my opinion..

We've seen a few ppl on this forum throw their toys and mention the CPA when it was entirely unnecessary, or they were just trying their luck.

Yeah right, a retailers' organisation warning consumers not to "manipulate" the CPA. In other words, don't try to stop us from ripping you off and don't try to make us provide the service you pay for.

Good idea, there are a lot more dodgy consumers than businesses out there.
