Cool ideas blocking firefox addons

Yeap, a VPN would definitely complicate things.
But two people on my network use vpns so how would i know. So Cool ideas doesnt block vpns right. Bc i have been using it for over a year and nothing has ever happend

Also how would i know if a website is been blocked by my isp?
Well, firstly, your ISP would need to have methods implemented to do so, which is a major undertaking. But unless they have a notice page, it's pretty difficult to tell why a connection wouldn't be established.

Are you part of the cool ideas team? Would i get a notification informing me about connections not being able to be established?

Cool Ideas isn't blocking anything. the problem is YOUR side.
So then most probably it is my router that is blocking something. I will have to check it out. Thanks for the confirmation.

Yeap, and no, as mentioned, there is no practical way for us to actively block anything. But being the Internet, if another network has an issue, we wouldn't have any visibility of it.

Bypass your router and try again?

Okay i will try again. Thanks for your help thus far

Cool Ideas said they never blocked it although Firefox webpage does say they are doing maintenence on their firefox accounts but i highly doubt it is related as i tried on my phone using mobile data and it works

Connect your laptop to your phone's hotspot, so it uses mobile data, and see if it still gives the same error.

There are a lot of reasons this error can happen. Proxy config, firewall, VPN, antivirus, etc.
If you use a different ISP (mobile data) it could rule out the ISP being the issue and you can focus on these.

Thanks for your help again, Somehow after two weeks i started working again. I asked one of my friends to check it out but they also couldn't figure out the problem but when i started my laptop today it started working which was weird for me. Although someone else told me it had something to do with the ssl certificates expiring which was odd. Must of been something temporary though. Anyways thanks again PBCool.

Sorry for blaming you. Please forgive me if i have offended you.
