Hi. Hope you guys are well. I am currently with openserve and started to re layout my network at home and would like to how I would go about moving my ONT box and Nokia box to a different location? I am assuming Openserve would have to come out but like cost and procedure of how to get the process started?
Your help would be highly appreciated. :)

I would highly recommend not relocating the ONT. Openserve will probably charge upward of R2000 for relocating it, if they even accede to the request.

Why not just do an Ethernet cable from the existing ONT box to where you would like your CISP router to be ? It can be done yourself, or a network contractor will likely do it for much less than Openserve will charge.

Good comms so far. Received a call confirming the order with the Vumatel reference number as well. Is there a way to opt for the more expensive router at a cost?

Depends which service did you order?

Order placed with CoolIdeas on Thursday for the 1gbps line, prorata payment made, proof sent....and nothing, 3 days and counting, ex Fibrestream customer on Vuma.

PBCool TheRoDent did something just die? I’ve just lost connection to discord and a few other sites. Local and international sites not loading. YouTube running fine though

Cape Town, northern suburbs. Vuma trenched

Random stuff just died. Discord, Twitch, this forum. Other sites like twitter work and steam. Everything seems normal on vox at the moment.
